The classic cantilever chair was originally designed by Mart Stam and further developed by designers such as Marcel Breuer and Mies van der Rohe.
In the course of the thirties, various producers, mostly for, or in cooperation with Thonet, manufactured the chair in large quantities. The seat as well as backrests are made of molded beech plywood. Sometimes they are veneered with oak or walnut. The tubular steel frame is chromed.
We have a large stock of unrestored chairs, which we can color according to your wishes.
